A warm welcome!
At the beginning of the new school year, the Hundertwasser School welcomed 5 new first-graders and their families in a festive hour in the forum. The school community sang a welcome song, Mrs Hübner handed out small bags with symbolic and useful contents in her speech and was delighted that the new pupils were already available to answer questions.
Year 4 had prepared a musical performance before the dragon and lion children welcomed their new protégés with handmade flags and then accompanied them to class for a lesson. After this taster lesson, a small breakfast for the parents and photos in the schoolyard, the families left the grounds in good spirits.
We are looking forward to our time together and wish all the children at the Hundertwasser School and their families a happy start to the new school year.
