The Social Pedagogical Institute Gütersloh e.V. is responsible for the open all-day programme. SPI Gütersloh e.V. is a recognised youth welfare organisation according to § 75 KJHG and a service provider in the context of early intervention. SPI Gütersloh e.V. has been a member of the German Parity Welfare Association (DPWV) since 7 September 2001.
The association has set itself the goal of supporting children, young people and their families with developmental delays, behavioural problems and/or socially disadvantaged children, young people and their families through suitable measures and thus helping them to develop and educate their personalities. In addition, the SPI has set itself the task of providing services in the area of open all-day schools as part of its holistic educational mission.
SPI Gütersloh e.V. is a modern, decentralised institution with over 10 years of experience in various fields of child and youth welfare. The Social Pedagogical Institute develops individual and differentiated services for children, young people and families. The main areas of work are:
- Flexible outpatient youth welfare measures - Curative education/psychomotor development support - Partial inpatient youth welfare measures (day group) - Open all-day and childcare services - School social work
The Sozialpädagogisches Institut Gütersloh (SPI) e. V. is active in the entire city and district of Gütersloh. There are cooperation agreements with the youth welfare offices, the city and the district of Gütersloh as well as the social welfare office of the district of Gütersloh. For the purpose of quality development and assurance, the SPI regularly participates in various expert groups at regional and supra-regional level.
