5 years Hundertwasser School - 5 years of systematic school development We have come a long way in this time.

A special school has been established which, as an open all-day school with a socio-educational focus, organises and implements the support of pupils with special educational needs in the area of their emotional and social development in two ways:

  1. as intensive support through special offers in the home school
  2. as accompanying promotion through supportive offers at the primary schools of the city

In this way, the Hundertwasser School, with a team consisting of teachers, social pedagogues in cooperation with the primary schools of the city of Gütersloh and the associated school supervision as well as with the support of the Youth Department, currently supports almost 70 pupils with special educational needs in the area of their emotional and social development. With its service and support offers, especially in the context of counselling, the Hundertwasser School has become an important cooperation partner, especially for the primary schools of the city of Gütersloh.

From here to a centre of excellence for special needs education in the city of Gütersloh is not only not far, but very close.
