Kiko

Children's Conference (KIKO)

The children's conference at the Hundertwasser School always takes place on the last school day before each holiday: that is, four times this school year. One class is always responsible for the preparation, the decoration of the forum and the moderation. All classes of the school contribute to the programme. There is singing, birthdays are celebrated, one or two class performances take place and, last but not least, all the children eagerly await the solution to the KIKO riddle.

Autumn is here!

Quickly the first weeks of the new school year are over again and the autumn holidays begin. All the children and adults of the Hundertwasser School once again enjoyed the autumn Kiko with an atmospheric programme. Parents, relatives and friends also enjoyed a great autumn KIKO. The lions and dragons accompanied great autumn songs with orff instruments. The wolves presented a cool black light dance act. The foxes' party song was also atmospheric and encouraged the audience to join in.

The Kiko puzzle this time was to estimate the number of spikes on a made-up hedgehog.

There were also swimming badges to hand out and many birthdays to honour. The evaluation and award ceremony of the art competition were also on the programme. The assignment for the art competition was: "Design a hedgehog your way". It was difficult to choose the winners, as all the children had put a lot of effort into their designs.

The Hundertwasser School won a large sum of money in a Sparkasse competition, so all the children and adults at the school thought about what the money should be spent on. In the KIKO, Mrs. Hübner was able to present the great purchases (two basketball baskets and a vehicle) with some of the children. All the children were very happy about this 😀.

Here are some impressions from our autumn Kiko...
