Kiko

Children's Conference (KIKO)

The children's conference of the Hundertwasser School always takes place on the last school day before each vacation: that is, four times this school year. One class is always responsible for the preparation, the decoration of the forum and the moderation. All classes of the school contribute to the program. There is singing, birthdays are celebrated, one or the other class performance takes place and last but not least all children are eagerly waiting for the solution of the KIKO riddle.

Autumn is here!

Quickly the first weeks of the new school year are over again and the autumn vacations begin. All children and adults of the Hundertwasser School enjoyed again the autumn Kiko with an atmospheric program. Also the parents, relatives and friends could enjoy a great autumn - KIKO. The lions and dragons accompanied great autumn songs with orff instruments. The wolves presented a cool black light dance act. The party song of the foxes was also atmospheric and encouraged the spectators to join in.

The Kiko puzzle this time was to estimate the number of spines on a made hedgehog.

There were also swimming badges to hand out and many birthdays to honor. The evaluation and award ceremony of the art competition were also on the program. The assignment for the art competition was: "Create a hedgehog in your own way". It was difficult to choose the winners, as all the children had put a lot of effort into their designs.

The Hundertwasser school had won a large sum of money in a savings bank competition, so that all the children and adults of the school thought about what the money should be spent on. In the KIKO, Mrs. Hübner was now able to present the great acquisitions (two basketball baskets and a vehicle) with some children. All the children were very happy about this 😀.

Here are some more impressions from our autumn Kiko...
