Kulturstrolche

The Kulturstrolche program accompanies a class from enrollment to grade 2. This program includes a wide range of cultural events from museum visits to theater events to a visit to a dance school. The students and of course the teachers of the Hundertwasser School love the program.

Wolves and foxes at cultural events

Once again this school year, the teachers of the wolf and fox classes decided to take part in the diverse program of the Kulturstrolche. The first item on the cultural program was making their own beeswax cloths. Beeswax cloths are a more sustainable alternative to cling film and aluminum foil, which have a huge environmental impact. The children had a lot of fun making their own beeswax cloths and learned a lot about bees.

Dragon and lion class: Visit to the Buntspecht workshop

As part of the Kulturstrolche 2023/ 2024 program, the dragon and lion classes visited the Buntspecht workshop in Gütersloh to take part in the "Printing techniques!" offer. Guided by artist Martina Schulz, the children used printing techniques to create great art pictures with different motifs and colors.

Wolves and foxes at cultural events

This school year, the teachers of the Wolf and Fox classes have once again decided to participate in the diverse program of the Kulturstrolche. The program includes a wide range of cultural events for the students. This year, there were guided drumming days at the Hundertwasser School, a visit to a dance school and a visit to the Kunsthalle in Bielefeld. There, one class marveled at interesting things in the sculpture garden and the other class spent a day in the architecture workshop, where the children were allowed to experimentally and creatively construct their own buildings.
