On your marks- get set- enrollment!!!

On Thursday, August 11, we welcomed 5 new first graders at the Hundertwasser School with their parents, grandparents and other family members. After we were allowed to organize the enrollment celebrations only very small and limited in the last years, we could finally celebrate a "real" celebration with all students and teachers in the forum again this school year. The fourth graders of the wolves and foxes shone with a black light theater performance, the children of the dragons and lions welcomed the new children with a welcome song and matching flags. Mrs. Hübner, in her new role as principal, also welcomed the students and the audience. After the first graders had a chance to get a taste of the classroom in their new classes, and the families had enjoyed the buffet, there were photos in the schoolyard in beautiful weather before the first day of school was over.
