5 years Hundertwasser School - 5 years of systematic school development We have come a long way in this time.

A special school has been established which, as an open all-day school with a socio-educational focus, organizes and implements the support of pupils with special educational needs in the area of their emotional and social development in two ways:

as Intensive support through special offers in the home school
as accompanying promotion through supporting offers at the elementary school of the city

In this way, the Hundertwasser School, with a team consisting of teachers, social pedagogues in cooperation with the elementary schools of the city of Gütersloh and the associated school supervision as well as with the support of the Youth Department, currently supports almost 70 students with special educational needs in the area of their emotional and social development. With its service and support offers, especially in the context of counseling, the Hundertwasser School has become an important cooperation partner, especially for the elementary schools of the city of Gütersloh.

From here to a competence center for special needs education in the city of Gütersloh is not only not far, but very close.
