A clear 5:1 against the Erich - Kästner School
As in previous years, a friendly football match took place between the Hundertwasser School and the Erich - Kästner School.
We were guests at the Erich - Kästner School. The children were looking forward to the game and were very motivated to make up for last year's defeat. The HWS boys were dominant from the start and after a few missed shots they scored the first goal, which was much celebrated. In the further course of the game, the HWS boys also created clear chances and converted them into goals. At half time, it was a clear 5:0 for the HWS boys.
At half-time, all the children were treated to a delicious ice cream 🙂
In the second half, the boys from the Erich-Kästner School tried to build up more pressure. But the HWS boys withstood the pressure, so that the Erich-Kästner School only scored a consolation goal through a controversial penalty. At the final whistle, the score was 5:1 for the Hundertwasser School. The revenge was successful.
The game was very fair, so the referee had little to do.
After the game, the children from both teams had time to play with each other in the school playground before the HWS boys headed back to school.
It was a great morning for the children.
Here are a few more impressions...
